Every now and again things don’t go to plan during a wedding. Hair takes a little longer than expected. Someone forgets a pair of socks. Traffic. And things run a little late, or perhaps even a little early. And that’s okay. If there’s one thing we’ve found, it’s that you’ll still get married, your guests will still hug you, kiss you, and we’ll still find time to photograph both of you when the sun is in just the right place.
But sometimes, things don’t go to plan for other reasons. Like this past Saturday at The Mountain Terrace in Woodside, CA. It was high in the mountains overlooking Silicon Valley where Christine and Aaron said I love you and I do. But they’ve been doing that so well for so long, that when their close friend and officiant was guiding them through their ceremony, watching these two so in love in front of all of their family and friends, well, her’s how she put it: “Watching you two so in love I completely skipped an entire part of the ceremony. I just flat out forgot. You love her so dearly.”
True love – So heavy, so passionate, and so raw – that those around you forget their words, and just remain in awe of what you share with the person standing across from you. That’s real. That’s legit.
